mixed background
Growing up between Mexico and Canada shaped my journey in ways that continue to influence my work today. I lived in Mexico until I was 11, before moving to Canada with my family. This transition from one culture to another has deeply impacted my work ethic, values, and creative practice.
My diverse background has given me a unique perspective and a profound appreciation for diversity, which shines through in my design approach. It has also instilled in me a deep sense of resilience and adaptability, qualities that have proven essential in overcoming the challenges of tight deadlines and complex projects.
always learning
As I pursue my Master of Science in User Experience at HEC Montreal, I’ve come to truly value the power of education. This journey has deepened my appreciation for learning and its role in personal growth. Embracing new opportunities to expand my knowledge and explore fresh ideas is a core part of my approach.
I believe that this curiosity and enthusiasm are reflected in the quality and creativity of my work, driving me to continuously ask questions and enhance my skills.
700+ day streak
Moving to Quebec from a non-French background, I've come to appreciate just how vital the French language. Learning a new language can be a daunting challenge, but I’m fully committed to the journey.
I’m proud to share that I’ve maintained a 700+ day streak on Duolingo, and I actively immerse myself in French media to push beyond my English-speaking comfort zone. While I don’t yet feel completely fluent, I’ve noticed real progress in my ability to understand French—especially when people speak a little slower.
